My plans changed, can I cancell my booking and get a refund ?

Yes. You will receive a full refund on all bookings for cancellations up to 48hours before expected pick-up.
If you have to cancel less than 48 hours before expected pick-up, you’ll receive a full refund minus the lower of 1 day rental.

Where will I find you at Skiathos Airport ?

Alpha-Rentals mini Vans provide free shuttle services every 3 minutes directly from the arrivals doors (2 minutes travel distance). Look out for the white mini Vans with Alpha-Rentals logos.
In case you have disabled passengers, babies or elders, please let us know and we will organize direct pick up at the arrivals.

Where will I find you at the port ?

All our port offices are situated within 50-80 meters from the ferry station (1-2 minutes walk distance). You can find us on maps or just look out for Alpha-Rentals signs.

Do I need a credit card ?

Renter must show a personal credit or debit card at the time of  the  rental. Depending on your rental terms, you might be asked for a security deposit which will be refunded to you on the last day of your rental (find below the amounts). Most of the clients decide to make this security deposit on their credit cards, other options are debit cards, pre-paid cards, or cash.
By choosing to upgrade to S.C.I. insurance, you will not be asked for any security deposits.

How much is the security deposit and when will I get it back ?

Clients with Super Cover Insurance will not be asked for a Security Deposit.
Clients with the standard CDW insurance will be asked for a Security Deposit depending the rented vehicle, on the last day of the rental they will be instantly refunded.

€300.00 for car groups A,B,C and
€500.00 for car groups C1, D, E, F, G, I, K, J, L

Security deposits per Scooter/ATV Groups
€200.00 for scooter groups 50cc-200cc
€300.00 for scooter groups 300cc & ATV groups 150cc-550cc
€500.00 for ATV groups 600cc-650cc

What happens if I receive a parking ticket during my rental ?

Local authorities will reach out and ask for the rental agreement, therefore your details will be shared. It’s always best to either pay at Alpha Rentals offices and receive a payment copy, or to pay following the instructions on the fee.

Do I need an international driver’s license to drive in Greece ?

All license produced in E.U. member countries, including Norway, Island, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Serbia, Albania, furthermore  UAE and all countries included in the Vienna Convention, USA, Canada, Australia, UK and Gibraltar are accepted in Greece and you will not need an international license.
